Botka: I am negotiating with voters

I don't want further negotiations with liberal party heads because they are striving for their personal aims only. I am negotiating with voters only, Mr. László Botka said in an interview in left-wing daily newspaper Népszava. He apparently seems to want to finally finish democratic opposition cooperation talks.

Hungary's cruel treatment of refugees has reached a new low. On Tuesday, in defiance of international law, the Parliament approved the mass detention of asylum seekers, including children, in guarded camps enclosed with razor wire. The European Union has said in a directive that "Member States shall not hold a person in detention for the sole reason that he or she is an applicant" for asylum; moreover, Hungary's treatment of refugee children defies international law.

Orban's Gov't is twice the size it was under the Bajnai government in 2010

So much for the Orbán government's desire to reduce bureaucracy. The numbers paint a very different picture.
