Far-right counter attacks: Jobbik wants former PM Gyurcsány to leave public life

While Former Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány's Democratic Coalition (DK) is about to introduce a proposal in parliament calling for the ban of Jobbik after that MP Márton Gyöngyösi from Jobbik called for the government to count the Jews and to make a list of those, Jobbik spokeswoman Dóra Dúró called Mr. Gyurcsány and DK that „rather than pursuing an anti-Jobbik hate campaign they should instead study Israel and the United States' laws in respect to dual nationality".

Hungary's opposition plans negotiations on union to defeat PM Orbán

Prime minister Viktor Orbán did not distance himself explicitly from far-right Jobbik

 

Viktor Orbán didn't do what Attila Mesterházy asked him to do in his speech on Sunday. He didn't explicitly and clearly distance himself from far-right Jobbik and condemn them. He refused to dismiss state secretary Zsolt Németh because of his inadequate answer to Jobbik parliamentarian Márton Gyöngyösi.
