DK: WITH THE PASSING OF THE ELECTORAL LAW, THE POSSIBILITY OF A FAIR ELECTION WILL BE GONE

In the opinion of Democratic Coalition (DK), if on Monday, the parliament passes the law on the election procedure, the possibility that the election in 2014 will be fair and righteous will be gone, definitively – Ferenc Gyurcsány said at a press conference held on Monday, on Vértanúk tere (Martyrs' square) in Budapest.

Hungary Socialists rating drops further

The approval rating of Hungary's ruling Fidesz party dropped some among eligible voters, while it remained unchanged among voters with party preference, according to the latest survey by pollster Tárki. The popularity of the biggest opposition party, the Socialist Party (MSZP), has fallen further and reached its lowest point in the past decade.
