Tobacco Gate: In Case of a Change in Government, All Tobacco Shop License Awards Will Be Deemed Null and Void

Given that ¾ of Hungarians are opposed to the idea that the government should decide on who can and who cannot own and operate tobacco shops, the new government (in case of a change in governments following the 2014 elections) will deem all tobacco shop license awards null and void, and it will initiate new and just tender procedures – just like Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP) indicated several times in the past few months.
