To boost the opposition's chances of success in next year's general elections and beat Orbán who swept back into power in 2010 with two thirds of the votes, Mesterházy is looking to team up with former caretaker Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai, who is forming his own party, Together 2014, as well as other "democratic" opposition groups.
