The tobacco-shop scandal is becoming unacceptable even for rightist politicians

The scandal about the tobacco-shops is not calming down, though the government announced it was going to reassess the results. Some unsuccessful applicants who have operated tobacco shops for a long time will be able to get back the license. The issue is becoming uneasy for the government, while the socialists support the annulment of the whole tender.

Gyurcsány: Bajnai's umbrella did not open, although the rain is pouring down

Six months ago, the former Prime Minister supported the candidacy of Gordon Bajnai for head of government, because at that time, the idea was still that Together 2014 would be an umbrella organization. However, that umbrella - even though it's pouring down - did not open, and Together 2014 (T14) has become one of the competing parties. The chairman of the Democratic Coalition party believes that the leaders of the MSZP and the T14 should urgently stop discrediting each other in front of the public.
