DK: After 2018 Hungary will join to the initiative of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office

The 10th of June is the day of the Hungarian Public Prosecutor. This day was introduced, when the mission of the Public Prosecutor was to assure the enforcement of the current law by everyone.

This is not the case today: as the Public Prosecutor Péter Polt, who is close to Fidesz let two innocent people get imprisoned in the case of Sukoró, which is a show trial and as surely there is no EU tender, which would be obtained by Lőrinc Mészáros, the Orbán government said no to the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office.
After 2018, the Democratic Coalition will connect Hungary to those European countries, where the European Public Prosecutor's Office is responsible for the enforcement of laws. There will be no more Sukoró and Lőrinc Mészáros: the people who robbed the Hungarian and the European taxpayers will be imprisoned. The DK understands that the Fidesz does not want to participate in the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, as Viktor Orbán could not enjoy the luxury circumstance, that he has enjoyed in the last 7 years in the Hungarian prisons. We must make this end in 2018, and we must clear the country from the political corruption with the aid of the European Public Prosecutor's Office.
