The opposition parties lack credibility, given that they keep doing the opposite of what they say. This is what Lajos Kósa declared a week ago, in the pro-government TV2 station's morning programme called Mokka.
However, as it can be expected from the parliamentary group leader of Fidesz, he managed to say something surprising in this interview as well, something what might have been unexpected even for Viktor Orbán, the arch-enemy of Ferenc Gyurcsány. Namely, that "in that whole bunch" (i.e. in the opposition - the editor's note), the DK chairman is the only straightforward man.
In order to discredit the opposition in the programme of the channel owned by Andy Vajna, the Fidesz politician mentioned the rejection of an amendment of the fundamental law that would have prohibited the settlement migrants in Hungary.
As he said, both the chairman of Jobbik, Gábor Vona and the chairman of the Socialists, Gyula Molnár promised that they would vote for the amendment, and then, they did not do that. In this "bunch", the chairman of DK, Ferenc Gyurcsány is a straightforward man, at least, as he declared in advance that he won't vote for the amendment of the law - a surprising sentence from Lajos Kósa, who probably did not think it over what he just said or what the "big boss", Viktor Orbán would think about that ,who, in his fight with Ferenc Gyurcsány, got a good beating several times (for instance, once the DK chairman abashed the present prime minister to an extent that he refuses to give a TV interview ever since - the editor's note).
